Diplomat

The Coated Diplomat® is slightly warmer than the Clear Diplomat® due to a coated single layer of 7.5-mil Mylar® film. They’re known for their bright warm tones, resonance, and sustain. Coated Diplomat® heads are best known for accentuating snare drum response.

Ambassador

The Coated Ambassador® heads are medium-weight heads made with a coated single-ply 10-mil Mylar® film to produce a warm open, bright, and resonant sound with a warm attack. Coated Ambassador® heads are the standard of the industry for both live and recording situations.

Vintage A

Vintage A the head that changed the world in 1957! Constructed of 2-ply 7.5- and 3-mil polyester film, this drumhead changed the art of drumming around the world as the first successful alternative to calf heads.

Ambassador X

Ambassador® X™ heads from Remo® utilize the same film as the industry standard Coated Ambassador® but are 20% thicker producing greater attack, volume and wider mid range tones while increasing durability and providing a unique feel for enhanced stick rebound. Available in sizes 8” through 16”.

Emperor

Coated Emperor® heads are warmer and more durable than Clear Emperor®s. They’re made with two free-floating plies of 7-mil Mylar® film, which gives consistent open warm tones which accounts for their popularity among many of today’s Studio, Pop, R&B and Rock drummers.

Vintage Emperor

A reissue of the first Remo Emperor® drumhead that changed the art of drumming in the late 1960’s. Constructed of 2-plies of 7.5-mil polyester films, they feature sensitivity and snare response of the Coated Emperor, accentuated mid and low frequencies and increased durability.

Emperor X

The Emperor X™ drumheads are the most durable Mylar® heads in the world. They’re made with two free-floating plies of 10-mil Mylar® film with a 5-mil reverse black dot, which gives consistent focused warm tones which accounts for their popularity among many of today’s hardest hitting Rock drummers.

Pinstripe

Coated Pinstripe's® quick decay makes them ideal heads for the “fat” sounds of Pop, Rock and R&B and for those who want a low pitched sound with warm attack and response characteristics.

Smooth White

Coated Smooth White™ heads offer warm mid range tones. Coated Smooth White heads bring out the center of the drum with a subtle attack making them great for all playing situations.

Powerstroke 3

The Coated Powerstroke® 3 features a thin underlay at the outer edge of the head to subtly dampen high frequency overtones. This creates a near-perfect balance of response and tone control that has quickly made Powerstroke 3 one of Remo’s most preferred drumheads.

Powerstroke 4

The Coated Powerstroke® 4 is a 2-ply version of the Powerstroke® 3. Powerstroke® 4's offer more durability and focused mid range tones making them the darkest sounding of the classic coated Weatherking heads.

Controlled Sound

Coated Controlled Sound® drumheads have medium and heavy-duty drumhead characteristics. The outer area of the head’s playing surface offers mid-range tone and sensitivity while the laminated center “dot” adds durability and tonal focus. Coated Controlled Sound heads are one of Remo’s most preferred snare drum heads.

Powerstroke X
