A professional line of Dununs brings punchy yet warm tones to any ensemble of drummers. These Dununs feature a lightweight durable ACOUSTICON™ 3/16” shell with a specially designed type 1 MONDO Fiberskyn®3 pre-tuned drumhead.
Dunun drums are equipped with the MONDO® FIBERSKYN® 3 drumheads which produce rich deep bass tones durable and weather resistant.
All Arthur Hull Signature drums are manufactured with Remo’s proprietary ACOUSTICON™ shell material. This advanced drum shell material has excellent projection capabilities and enhanced low-pitched fundamentals. Added benefits are strength, weather-resistance and reduced weight.
Dununs, The traditional Dununs (phonetic spelling, DO-NOONS) are the family of drums which provide the "SONG" for the djembe orchestra, the kenkeni is the high pitched motor, the sangba is the identifier of the rhythm, playing the signature pattern and the dundumbas are highly syncopated and improvise along with the Djembes in synchrony with the phrases of the music/dance to create crescendos.
