| The Remo Hira Daiko feature an Acousticon™ shell with heavily reinforced bearing edges for durability. The Nuskyn® film used on these instruments was specifically developed for our line of Taiko drums. All Hira Daiko drumheads are pre tuned and the heads are tacked onto the body of the drum in the traditional manner.
