The Remo Talking drums are designed in conjunction with master drummer France Awe and are very similar to the Nigerian talking drum but with more bass tone and a superior shell construction. Manufactured with Remo's proprietary ADVANCED ACOUSTICON™ shell material this advanced material has excellent projection capabilities and enhanced low-pitched fundamentals. Added benefits are strength, weather-resistance and reduced weight.

“The combination of the ADVANCED ACOUSTICON™ shell and the SUEDE® drumhead has attracted the attention from my countrymen to play Remo,” states Mr. Awe. “The consistency of the shell is far superior to the traditional tree truck shells. I am pleased with the highest quality of talking drums from Remo.”

We at Remo Inc. believe you too will be please with the sound and performance of the Francis Awe Signature Series Talking drum.
