Dan Bourke is not your typical “drummers drummer”. when asked at how many BPM he can blast, or if he can do a paradiddle diddle triple Salchow in 7/4, his response will normally be (in true Garth fashion) “...I like to play”. Dans been a lover of the drums and all things music since he held his first pair of sticks at a very young age. Its always been his love for the sound, and love for the feel of drums and groove that kept his passion going.

Playing in bands and marching throughout high school Bourke developed his own unique style. He took that style on the road with him at 16 when he joined his first touring Melodic Hardcore band called The Backup Plan. He then seamlessly dove into creating and touring with another Long island band called This is Hell, and Currently has been with Stray From the Path for years. SFTP’s latest Album landed at number 40 on the billboard charts its debut week. This is not to mention the four side projects he’s been a part of. Dan is going on almost 13 years now of straight touring, playing and making music worldwide, Always busy, and always wanting to create.
