Brian Baldauff is currently Assistant Professor of Percussion at the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point where he directs the percussion ensemble, teaches applied lessons, and percussion fundamentals courses. He is an active recitalist and serves as co-principal for the Central Wisconsin Symphony Orchestra. Brian is a versatile performer and pedagogue whose interests span contemporary and historic percussion literature, electronic sound, and chamber music.

Active as a performer, Brian has also appeared with symphony orchestras in Florida and Michigan and as a featured artist at the Percussive Arts Society International Convention. In demand as a clinician, he has presented at Percussive Arts Society Days of Percussion and at high schools and universities across the United States. As a founding member of the Denkyem Percussion Group, he toured Costa Rica performing concerts and teaching masterclasses. His recent projects include recording with the John Psathas Percussion Project (JP3) for a forthcoming album release on Rattle Records.

Additionally, Brian is very active in the Percussive Arts Society community where has served as President of the West Virginia chapter. Brian completed his undergraduate work in music education at the University of Central Florida and received the Master of Music from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. His primary percussion teachers include Jeffrey Moore, Michael Udow, Joseph Gramley, and John W. Parks, IV. He is ABD for the Doctor of Music degree at the Florida State University.
