Sydney, Australia based drummer Chris Allison began playing drums at age 13 on the Central Coast of New South Wales. Largely self taught as a teen, he completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Music at the Australian Institute of Music, and has since studied further with some of Australia’s finest drummers.
Chris’ biggest gig came in late 2017, when he was invited to play for instrumental guitarist Plini & has since played to audiences in North America, Europe & the UK, Australia, Russia, India & Nepal, as well as recording Plini’s ‘Sunhead’ EP (2018).
Further touring session work has included playing drums for Mestis (Javier Reyes from Animals As Leaders solo project), Serbian guitarist David Maxim Micic & Sydney-based math-rock act SEIMS.
In addition to this, Chris plays & composes his own music with his prog/fusion trio Instrumental (adj.) and plays in Birdman or the Unexpected Virtue of a Tony Hawk Pro Skater Cover Band - a cover band which exclusively plays the hits from the soundtrack of the Tony Hawk video games.
