Christopher Guanlao, born May 25th 1975 in Los Angeles, CA is a Grammy nominated American musician/actor/songwriter/composer/film producer, best known as the drummer for Silversun Pickups. Prior to joining Silversun Pickups, Christopher has been in countless LA based bands drumming, playing guitar and singing. In the mid-ninties, Christopher started a band called CROONeR and occasionally still releases original new and old music. He has also composed music for the short films The Old Samurai and Reunion. Christopher's career highlight was working with producer and fellow drummer Butch Vig on Silversun Pickups 5th full-length album, Widows Weeds, released in 2019.
