Daniel Hanson is a touring and session drummer from Brisbane, Australia and is best known for playing with the band Ball Park Music.
Daniel became obsessed with drums as a young child and was promised his first drum kit for Christmas if he had lessons for one year and demonstrated an ongoing interest and determination to get better. 22 years later he lives and breathes drums every single day and has thousands of professional performances behind him with many more to come.
Dan’s band Ball Park Music have released 6 full length studio albums, with the last 5 all reaching the top 10 of the Australian ARIA charts, 3 of which received ARIA award nominations. The band has had multiple entries into the Triple J Hottest 100 Countdown from each of their albums, and has accumulated millions of streams across all platforms.
They have also won a Triple J award, and two Queensland Music awards.
Ball Park has played over 500 shows touring both Nationally and Internationally, whilst regularly appearing on the stages of Australia’s biggest music festivals (Splendour in the Grass, Falls Festival, Groovin the Moo).
Daniel gets a great amount of joy from playing the drums every single day.
