Luke Anthony Johnson is an English rock musician, drummer and songwriter.

He began his music career in the late 1990s drumming for a spree of small local West Midlands- punk and metal bands. In early 2003 Johnson was approached by California punk band Amen to join the ranks. After his departure from Amen in 2005, Johnson formed Beat Union as drummer and songwriter with some friends from his hometown of Redditch. Beat union signed to a US based label in 2007 and toured the states for 14 months straight including a full stint on the Vans Warped tour in 2008. Later he joined the Welsh alternative metal band Lostprophets in 2009 until their disbanding in 2013. He and the remaining members formed No Devotion 18 months later. Luke has also been involved in other musical projects, including working alongside Producer John Feldmann and has performed session work for a variety of bands including The Wonder stuff, Foxy Shazam, Itch and The Blitz kids. He now plays in LOWLIVES based out of Los Angeles.

"As a young new drummer at the age of 6, I was given some Remo Coated Pinstripes by a seasoned drummer my father worked with. One for both my rack tom and floor tom. Previously I just thought my drums sounded cheap because they were from a thrift store, and that better sound would come with better drums. I was proven so wrong. With the help of my drum teacher I put the Coated Pinstripes on my Tom’s and they came to life. Still to this day Coated pinstripes are my favorite Remo head. Throw a CSX on the snare and you’ll have a perfect sounding kit no matter what you play!"  -Luke Johnson
