Mr. Khan has more than 25 years experience in Drums and Percussion for all music genres and 11 years of experience facilitating drum circles and teaching music for persons of all age groups and abilities. He has over 11 years of experience working closely with children/ youth-at-risk and special needs (Autism, ADHD, Down Syndrome, GDD, Cerebal Palsy, Muscular Dystrophy, Visual and Hearing Impaired). A self taught musician, from the age of 6 he started jamming on percussionswith his family of musicians and was a Drum Major in his secondary school military band.

Today he dedicates his life to bringing rhythm and music to people from all walks of life. Shamroz considers drumming to be the celebration of life and the solution to issues. He has an extensive background as a performing artiste , music producer/ composer and multi-instrumentalist. He has produced 2 International Music Albums 2007 and 2008 and gained vast media coverage. His composition from his debut album won 3rd place in the 17th Annual Billboard World Song Contest under World Music Category in 2010. Till date he has participated in numerous Arts and Cultural festivals, and produced music videos.

He holds a Grade 8 Distinction in Drum Kit (Rockschool). He is a trained REMO HealthRHYTHMS Adolescent Protocol facilitator and HealthRHYTHMS Group Empowerment Drumming facilitator. He is certi?ed by the Social Service Institute in “Working and Facilitating the Learning of Children with Special Needs in the Arts”. He has participated in the 'Art For All' ASEAN Disability Camp 2015 in Bangkok and conducted Drum Circle workshops for participants with special needs at the camp. He has also attended the ‘Arts Integrated Learning Workshop’ by Wolf Trap Institute for Early Learning through the Arts (For Special Education Schools). He has received a Sound Practitioner certi?cation by Wellness Space.

Affectionately known as Mr Sham, he has an excellent reputation with children of any age and ability. He is able to handle EVERY child con?dently and takes pride in this gift. His secret mantra – to teach and treat every child like his own. His interest in professionally teaching children was unlocked during 2007 when he produced a children’s music album with 50 children in Singapore and raised funds for the special needs during the launch.    Together with his partner-wife he runs a social enterprise centre in Singapore providing arts education and wellness programmes for all abilities.
